Why did you become a writer?

I have always loved to read, daydream, and write, but never dreamed of becoming a writer, it just seemed too far out there. After my second son was born, I was suffering from postpartum depression and napping a lot. My mom came to visit, pulled me out of bed, and said, “You need a hobby, go downstairs and … write a book.” I don’t know where the idea came from but I’m an obedient child, so I sat down that afternoon and started writing a book. It was hobby - instalove, I wrote every chance I got. It took me a while to realize that I wasn’t doing anything right so then the passion changed to learning how to write. Eventually I started improving and was offered my first contract five years later.

About the author: Cami is a part-time author, part-time exercise consultant, part-time housekeeper, full-time wife, and overtime mother of four adorable boys. Sleep and relaxation are fond memories.
